Czech Republic
The Czech Republic does not have a nationwide TMC service at present. However, following successful tests in late 2003, a permanent service is under development. An initial location table has been made and a Czech language translation of the event list completed.
Regular broadcasts have been launched in 2005, initially addressing the Prague city area and some major surrounding roads.
The country is a participant in the CONNECT Euro-Regional Project. The enhancement of cross-border cooperation and sharing of Austria's experiences with new European member countries is a target within the scope of this project.
