VRT operates a public TMC service for the Ministerie van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap, providing free TMC information for motorways and major roads in the Flanders region and around Brussels. TRITEL is responsible for the distribution and the maintenance of the TMC location table for Belgium.  

The Ministère de l’Équipement et des Transports (MET) launched a free public TMC service at the end of January 2005, replacing the test service which was broadcast in this area until recently. The service covers the motorways (869 km) and major regional roads of the Wallonia region.  It is planned to extend coverage to include information on the Flemish network.

The broadcaster of this service is the French-language public broadcaster, RTBF. More information can be found on http://routes.wallonie.be
